HIGDON HOME INTERIORS
Full-Service Interior Design
For renovations, remodeling, new construction and larger-scale projects, thoughtful design begins long before construction starts.
Full-service interior design provides a comprehensive approach to creating a home that is both beautiful and highly functional. From space planning and custom cabinetry to material selections, lighting, plumbing fixtures and finishes, every decision is considered as part of the larger design.
The result is a clear, cohesive plan that reflects the way you live and gives your contractor and trades the direction they need to bring the design to life.
When your home deserves more than piecing it together
Renovations and new construction involve hundreds of decisions, many of which affect one another. Layout, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, materials and finishes all need to be considered before construction is underway.
A thoughtful design plan helps identify potential issues early, reduce costly changes and last-minute decisions, and gives contractors and trades clear direction for execution.
Just as importantly, every decision is made with the finished home in mind so the result feels intentional rather than pieced together over time.

A thoughtful process from the start
The most successful projects begin with thoughtful planning before construction starts. Design decisions are developed in a logical sequence, from space planning and cabinetry to materials, fixtures, finishes and final details, so each choice supports the overall vision.
Plans, elevations, renderings and specifications are used as appropriate to help visualize the design, communicate intent and give the project team clear information to work from.

Common questions
When should I bring in a designer?
Ideally, before construction begins. Early involvement allows important decisions around layout, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing and finishes to be considered together; helping reduce costly changes and giving the project team a clearer plan to work from.
Do you work with builders or contractors?
Yes. Higdon Home Interiors collaborates with contractors, builders, cabinetry vendors and other trades as needed to communicate the design intent and help keep design-related decisions aligned throughout the project. Clients are also welcome to work with their own trusted contractor or builder.
Can you help with both finishes and furnishings?
Yes. When the project calls for it, the design can continue from architectural finishes and fixtures through furnishings and final details, creating a cohesive home rather than treating each decision in isolation.
